This time while Aaron was in Omaha. Fortunately, Shawna and Dan were over so they A. noticed the turtle's absence and B. helped me find him without panicking.
This time, he made it clear down the hallway into the guest bath and hid behind the toilet. That's like the New York Marathon in turtle distance. Maybe he keeps getting out because he wants more room to exercise?
Aaron lowered the water level after he got home so hopefully that'll thwart any future marathon training sessions the turtle has planned.
