This blog was originally supposed be a joint blog, but Aaron has posted twice and changes the subject whenever I bug him about blogging. So here's a quick post about what Aaron would be blogging about, if he were to cave.
Aaron has been working really hard at learning how to use Dreamweaver so he can build his own websites. He's made two stabs at it so far and has built some pretty decent looking websites.
Costa Rica Travel Site

He built the CR site after getting really frustrated while trying to plan our trip. All the information was really scattered and we had a devil of a time finding reputable car companies, much less some of the more obscure stuff we needed (like some kind of description or layout of the airport so we could set a meeting place with Jeremy). Aaron wanted to create a site that would bring all that information together in one place plus give a first hand account of things like food, the potholes, and the airport. It's still a definite work in progress (and one trip doesn't really make us experts), but it's slowly getting there. He's been gathering links and resources and I think the site has a lot of potential. Plus it gives me an excuse to push for a return trip ("It's for research!").
Aaron created the second site when he became a sales rep a few months ago for the MMA program which helps you pay off your mortgage more quickly by utilizing a HELOC (home equity line of credit). He's really excited about the program and had a lot of fun creating the website. It's a little more sophisticated than the Costa Rica site and I think he did a really good job on it. He apparently has a thing for green.
When Aaron isn't working on learning how to build websites, he's in Omaha killing innocent piggies in the name of science and progress. But we won't talk about that :)
