[Neko in his pre-ribbon days]The other day, Aaron was leaving for work when he heard a strange, watery sound. He thought it was our camel of a cat, Bender, gulping down water, as he is oft wont to do. Unfortunately, it was our other cat, Neko, puking. In one of the puddles of cat vomit, Aaron found a small piece of purple ribbon, about one inch long. He figured that's what had induced the vomiting.
The next morning, we walked into the kitchen to find Neko walking about with several inches of purple ribbon hanging out of his bum with a lovely bit of well-digested cat food stuck to the end. The bit of well-digested cat food had smeared lovely brown streaks all over our kitchen floor.
I got the privilege of mopping while Aaron got the privilege of removing said ribbon. Neko didn't much care for that. Aaron pulled the ribbon out and, much to our amazement, it was at least a foot long. How on earth does a foot of purple ribbon fit into the intestines of a rather smallish cat without killing him?
I continued to mop. Aaron kept an eye on Neko for any signs of bleeding or continued discomfort. Much to our continued amazement, another piece of ribbon soon became visible. Aaron pulled on the end only to discover yet another foot of purple ribbon lurking in our poor Neko's intestines. As soon as the second piece had been removed, Neko was back to normal, running, pouncing, eating our feet. And we don't leave ribbon out anymore.

Wow...your poor cat! It's a good thing that you got Aaron to do the really dirty work...poor kitty.
Our cat does the same thing, however she chews small pieces at a time and we've never had to fish 2 feet of ribbon from her butt!
POOR AARON- that is a dirty job right there- that's love man... that's love.
Also- that is a good looking cat! Have you though of getting him to an agent??
We think he's good looking too! We personally believe that if he weren't neutered, the lady cats would be all about Neko. He's studly!
